State Tree Climbing Competition

The South Australian Society of Arboriculture held the Vermeer State Tree Climbing Championships on the 29th October 2011 at Botanic Park.

The finslists of this event are as follows:

1st Place and State Champion is Ed Smith from Austral Trees.

2nd Place is Jim Sutton-Smith

3rd Place is Adam Crow from Adelaide Urban trees

There are many Laws, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and other guidelines relating to best practices tree management that apply to Arborists, developers and homeowners. Be sure to do your research before building nears trees or working on trees. Arborists are also encouraged to be familiar with these.
